Generative AI can produce impressive results, but sometimes it delivers information that is completely incorrect while sounding highly confident and convincing. Many of us have encountered examples ranging from inaccurate project recommendations and fabricated references to incorrect technical or business insights.

What was your first memorable experience with a GenAI hallucination? How did you realize the information was wrong, and did it change the way you use or validate AI-generated content today?

I'm interested in hearing real-world examples and lessons learned from the community. Did the experience increase your trust in GenAI, decrease it, or simply change how you prompt and verify results?
