Colleagues,

With the recent shifts in modern project management and the strong focus on "Value Delivery," we are constantly reminded that delivering a project on time, within scope, and under budget is no longer enough. We need to ensure we are actually delivering real business value.

While tracking a budget or monitoring schedule milestones is quite straightforward, "value" can be very subjective. It is also quite difficult to measure before the project is completely finished and the product is operating in the market.

I would love to hear how you are handling this transition in your daily practice:

How do you or your PMO measure and track "value" while the project is still in the execution phase?

Do you use specific KPIs to ensure the project remains aligned with the expected benefits of the business case?

Or, in reality, are most sponsors still only looking at the traditional budget and schedule metrics during your status meetings?

Looking forward to reading your thoughts and learning from your experiences!
