As a junior project manager, you may identify risks, track blockers, and follow up on pending decisions, but progress can still stall when senior project managers or decision-makers don't respond in a timely manner.

When these delays start affecting project timelines, how do you handle the situation without overstepping your authority or damaging working relationships?

- How do you escalate unresolved risks and decisions effectively?

- How do you create accountability when follow-ups go unanswered?

- How do you protect project timelines when decisions are outside your control?

I would like to hear how experienced project managers have handled this situation, especially when they were responsible for delivery but lacked the authority to make the final call.
