Elapsed Time:
The total number of calendar days (excluding non-working days such as weekends or holidays) that is needed to complete an activity.
If an activity takes 2 days and starts on a Friday, then it would be completed on Monday, since Saturday and Sunday are holidays. In this case, the elapsed time of the activity is 4 days which includes the Saturday and Sunday.

Resource levelling:
Resource leveling is a scheduling process in which the start and end dates of tasks are driven by resource limitations. This is used when limits on the availability of resources are more important. It is finding out "‘With the resources available, when will the work be finished?’
It is ensuring resources are not overloaded and minimize the peaks and valleys to an extent possible.

Expectancy Theory of Motivation:
This was suggested by Victor H. Vroom.
According to Vroom,Motivation Force = Expectancy X Instrumentality X Valence.
:>Expectancy - The belief that higher or increased effort will yield better performance.
>Instrumentality - The thought that if an individual performs well, then a valued outcome will come to that individual.
>Valence - The importance that a person puts on an expected outcome.

When deciding among behavioral options individuals select the option with greatest motivational force. However if any one of the 3 values is zero, the motivation force will be zero.
