Hello all,

inspired by the "Project Management Terms Relay Race" ) and the "PMI-ACP® Terms Relay Race" initiated by VenkatramVasi M i wanted to start a PMI-PBA® Terms Relay Race !
(another reason is, cuase i just started studying for the PBA certification exam and hope this will help me a bit .. ;) ).

So, let us play a relay race of PMI-PBA® Terms!

Rules:
>You start from the last letter of the term posted previously.
>In case, more than one terms posted with same letters (concurrently posted), you start with the latest term.
>Only PMI-PBA® Terms in this relay (yes, there are overlapping with PMBoK Guide terms).
>A term may include multiple words.
>Acronyms are fine. please include the expansion before the description.
>Your term needs to be followed by a short description of the term.
>No successive posting of term by the same member. The below one is fine.
member A: --------L
member B: L----- --- ----D
member A: D---- ------ ----
> If you don't get a term starting from a particular letter(last letter of previous term), feel free to start from the next letter. e.g. previous term - buzz, if you don't get a term starting with 'z', you may start with 'a'. (Hoping this rule will be rarely used.:)
>End date of game: No end date. Till the game goes on.

Have fun!

Solution Assessment

Once requirements are handed to the solutions team the business analyst will be expected to assess the design returned to the project team. The Business analyst maintains much of the project's intellectual property - especially about requirements and is the most able person to assess the apropiateness of the solution design in terms of alignment and quality. Good Luck for PMI-PBA exam !!

Hello to all the new participants, great! Highly appreciated!

NOW we have a race! ... ;)
Hello Markus,

Nice initiative. I am currently preparing for the PMI-PBA exams and understanding the terms and correct meanings is a great way to learn. I just created an audio of all the Business Analysis terms in mp3 format and it is a handy way of learning by listening.

Hello MIchael,

the PBA standrd is work in progress actually and expected to be released in 2017. So i guess nobody can answer your question actualy.
But you might should ask this question as its own question in the board (not really the right place here in the middle of our race ... ;) ).

Regards,

Markus

but since we already off topic just another thing; we have shortly founded a new LinkedIn group regarding the PMI-PBA certification as a sister group to the very popular "I want to be a PMP" group, where i am one of the admins.

The new group is obv. called

"I want to be a PMI-PBA"

and should become the biggest, most popular and most active PBA related interest group in the world.

So, please have a look and eventually become a member:

https://www.linkedin.com/groups/7057889

As a first initiative in the group we have started publishing a five step process on "How to get your PBA certification!".

Hopefully see you there ...

but now, back to topic ... ;)
