I am in a situation where I am responsible for a project that my agency has been directed to contract with another State agency to provide PM services. Welcome to State government and project management. Due to the nature of politics and forced dependency on another organization, I am looking for some tools to use to incorporate in our Inter-Agency Agreement that will allow my agency to assess and evaluate the PM provided by the 'sister' agency. Apparently holding another agency accountable seems to be a new concept around here. If anyone has any recommendations on tools to use I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hi Marc,

I don't have, nor do I know of any tools per se but I've found a couple of useful references online that may give you ideas for metrics, in addition to assessing if they delivered on time, on budget, full scope, with quality that passes. Here are some sources for more specific performance assessments that I looked through and found may be useful

This one is really good: http://megabyte.utm.ro/articole/2009/Stiin...t%20manager.pdf

This has some content you may find useful: http://www.slideshare.net/koralreef6/proje...mance-appraisal

Michelle
