The number of questions depends on the previous experience, before the exam. You must answer the questions until you feel that you really understood what different chapters are dealing with..

I would suggest that anyone who is studying for the test should take tests equivalent of 2 PMP exam’s worth of questions – 400 questions.

I did 7 full length simulation tests, 200 questions each, scoring between 75% and 80%. And a number of random smaller tests.

Did as many as is in the Rita PMP exam prep book, can’t recall how many they were, but once I could answer close to 90% of them correctly I sat for the PMP exam.

IMO, the number does not matter but the quality of contents and learning outcomes be considered as important aspect for evaluation and preparation.

Until you feel comfortable with exam pattern and scores you are getting.
Also, for the last 7 days before actual exam, try giving 1-2 full length Mocks daily for ideal preparation.

I agree with Mounir on this.It will not all about the number of sample questions but more about the understanding of the contents which makes you ready to take the exam.Sample questions may vary.
