I think it is not depend on how many sample questions you practiced, rather how much time you spend every day to study (at least one month) before attending the real exam.

George, its all depends on quality of sample questions and clear understanding of candidate, but roughly If one practice 1000 to 1600 , then it is more then enough, especial consideration for ITTO and Formula questions, which will give you solid score in exam.

Hi George,

It depend how much you are comfortable with the results on Mock ups. It has to be about 80% score on the Mock ups.

How many questions? A question that might draw me out of the study path since we all learn differently. A fair statement would be to better understand the topics without memorizing.

I didn't practice a lot of questions but I had fully planned to do thousands of them. I guess it depends how you are performing. If you are really getting your answers correct then probably you know the game of project management. If you are getting most of them incorrect then do more. Questions will help you reproduce your learnings after assimilation..

I think one should attempt as many sample questions as are in that one exam. And one should get to know logical answers to the questions.

I don't think there is a definite number to sample questions that can be attempted before writing PMP. What is more important is the level of success achieved, I mean pass mark obtained on each practice exam. I would rather suggest that once one can achieve an average of 75% of 200 Questions Mock Exam on about 4 to 5 different sample exam. Then you are good to go. Attempting 4 to 5 Mock Exam means one has been able to practice 800 to 1000 sample question.
