Why projects are challenging to manage?

To paraphrase one of my professors, projects are usually trying to solve a problem with two parts…

Problem A: The technical nature of the problem. Problem B: The people involved and the problems they create while working together

Either or both could make projects challenging to manage.

BTW, as a student, how did you get to the conclusion that projects are challenging to manage?

Where do you see it is challenging to manage ? Which area of project do you see yourself need improvement.

Normally the challenge is on specific areas of the project management. Some researches say most people have problem in communications, other say the struggle is on integration, but a project depends on the team, the environment and the moment around it. When those factors are in line with the project, the success will come.
