Lessons Learned Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

Most of my PM experience has been with engineering and construction projects. Have recently taken over the role of PM for a project to replace our existing voicemail system with Cisco's Unity unified messaging. Will have 2500 users, does anyone out there have any lessons learned, wbs plans, or any other info they would like to share?
