Personally, I find the new design pretty cool. Being used to the previous site, it took me a few minutes to getting used to it. But after a few minutes of navigation, I find it better than the previous one. The home/landing page has been designed nicely. The resources have been divided/categorized into 5 menu items.The clutter which used to be there in the earlier site has been reduced to a great extent. The search box also looks good now.
Good job done!
One concern though is that the profile pic displayed under our name is somehow cut off and not displayed in full.
