George is right Elizabeth, great input. In addition to those I also use:
larger, more
less
@ action item
:) ... means I need to add 3 people resources (dots = number to reduce)
:(... means I need to reduce by 3 (see above note)
- move on, move forward, start
? ask a person something
! stop

Maria - don't you think "inv" used for "invoice" be confused with "inventory" ?

I think this would depend on if you're note taking for yourself or others and the environment you're in.
