My suggestion is to develop a shorthand and create your own dictionary. While there are several standard abbreviations, over time I have developed my own. If you are a PM full time role, the organisation itself will have several unique abbreviations. Our PM colleagues have given suggestions on the generic ones.
In addition: Out of interest what I do is categorise. For example scope, communication, time etc. Just to keep it interesting. Saving Changes...

Exactly, Vincent. I also have two bookmarks in my notebook. The first, to indicate where my next notes should be written. The second, to indicate the end of my completed action items. That way, I always know the point from which I have to pick up my action items.
