During last weeks, I’ve received different mails looking for a project manager hands-on.

The companies, or headhunters are looking for a PM certified that also can write code, or realize the configuration in the system.

From my point of view, they are looking for a technician with management skills.

I’ve also realize that they don’t really understand the PM role (they only ask if we are experts in excel, sharepoint)

What’s your advise for all us looking for a job? Should we argue this kind of roles? Should we accept?

No. Difficult to see the landscape from within the weeds.

@Andrew, maybe I'll use this expression in my next interview.
