Did you know the meaning of a simple smile is perceived very differently in cultures around the world?

As far as I know, a saying in Korea is "He who smiles a lot is not a real man", and a Russian proverb say "smile for no reason is a sign of stupidity"

How do you perceive smiling?Have you ever observed these diferences in a multicultural project enviroment?

In the middle east they sometimes say: Smiling without a reason is bad attitude.

In Canada, smiling is a positive thing and here is a smile for you in the occasion of this day :D

A smile may be worth a thousand words, yet it can also hide a thousand problems. It can mean a lot to someone, on the contrary it may turn someone red.

Keep smiling :D
