I speak for not just my self but for many other people who would rather listen in on the knowledge embodied within the PMBOK and other books. With all the modern modes of advancement in technology in communication.

Please kindly contribute if you have any solutions concerning this or acknowledge if you feel the need for this too.

Yes Mr. Parent. I have those two Holy books in audio version as well. I love to learn while I commute. I think its okay to have audio formats which can help to sink in/hard wire knowledge of some terms and the ITTO's
One thing that is certainly nice about audio books is that it gives you a chance to hear words pronounced. Sometimes we know words in written format but never get to hear them pronounced properly.

I have use iPad for some e-book, where you have the option to get it to read. It can be interesting in some case but for reference book it is limited.

What I would love for reference manual such as PMBOK, is you purchase the paper book and they give you a code for the e-book. I love to have some of my reference manual handy (ebook) but that doesn't fully replace the paper version. Not for me.

From my point of view listen PMBOK will be a little bored. When it start to repeat the ITTO's each time...phew, I can't do it.

This kind of manuals, always paper and markers.

As PMBOK is protected, I think Reader Apps dont work. I tried with MS Reader it did not work.

Technical books in audio format feel funny to me.

But for some people it is not an option.

I think PMI should provide documents in pdf format that is both readable (audio reader) and that you could highlight (most people use it in reference manual).
