I have to ask a bunch of questions and to have more transparency and a better overview for your participation i will divide them in several postings.
What is this about?
In short: It is about what questions to ask your sponsor as a project manger in your very first meeting to set a baseline during initiation phase.
In long: please refer to the before mentioned thread fur detailed information.
Here are the questions about "Tradeoffs":
==========================================
Tradeoffs
Which one of the drivers for this project must be achieved?
ROI
Budget
Team Satisfaction
Timeline
Functions/Features]
Quality
Customer/Stakeholder satisfaction
anything else? enter her
we want to have a prioritization here
=============================================
Please review them and leave your comment, correction, enhancement or addition. Any feedback is highly welcome!
And please lookout for the other sections also; thank you very much in advance.
Every participant will receive the result of this initiative if wanted.

Markus,
Frankly speaking, it is very difficult to prioritize the above as all of them are important and contributes towards the project success and should be achieved at the end.
I would add Safety to the above list.

Sponsors should provide decisions on risks, changes, and conflicts that are beyond PMs Authority.
My question is - Will you be facilitating the problem solving?

You're welcome my friend :-) Thanks for your initiative and efforts.
As I said in the other discussion of business outcome, like benefit realization, ROI might not be appropriate to question in the project initiating stage. Expected ROI of this project might be inclusive in the business case to which management might refer when they prioritized projects at the time of selection of this project. ROI should be considered as a long term indicator after successful completion of the project, in conjunction with customer satisfaction, quality of project deliverable(functions, features and appearance), benefit realization etc..

Dear Sungjoon,
i understand what you trying to say here; so should we delete ROI from the possible "tradeoffs" here? What do others think about?
