Start gaining knowledge on project management areas, like resourcing/scheduling/financing/etc

the best way to get this is align with a project manager in your office or PMO team.

Get the basics clear. Then applying them will be easy

Hi Sanjeev, you can actually look for two kinda jobs.
1. Getting a Project management job: For joining a firm/company for the position requires practical experience, also there are few companies who actually look for your career experience with PMP certification for start up projects. However you might try applying directly to companies with a good attractive profile to impress the employer, that will also actually add up for you to get into project management jobs sooner.
2. Independent Trainer : If you think you are really capable of training people on PMP and have a good knowledge on PMP you can become trainer in online firms like, Edx, Udemy, Market Motive, Simplilearn America's Inc, etc. You will simultaneously do this without affecting your current job. You might think, can we earn more income from this?. Answer to this is Yes, not most of them know about this opportunity but you can earn 50000-150000 INR per month additional to your current income. Hope this helped, you can also feel free to contact me for any queries on career opportunities or if you need help selecting the right one. Thanks

Have you tried LinkedIn? You can connect with groups, HRs & orgs. I have noticed opportunities for new practitioners, contract to hire positions and freelance opportunities.
