There were actually many, but the biggest challenge came from 'Stakeholders'. Next was the change in leadership & management.

Mine was change in leadership and management. For me, as I was working with different departments of the company, many managers within each department thought it was best to be telling me what I should and shouldn't be working on.

That was the most difficult while I tried to manage all my project proactively.

The biggest challenge was shifting from On-Site Project Management to Project Management Consultant - It might seem similar but in reality it is different and challenging.

There are lots of differences but one of them that I experienced for example is that On-Site PM, your are more hands-on on all details while PM Consulting, you look at the big picture more and also concentrate more on value engineering - I am talking about my experience in Real Estate Development.
