The best way I found was when I was involved into a selling method course (i am not a seller) about "Solution Selling" or "SPIN Selling" method. I use this method for a lot of activities inside business analysis and project management.

Wagner,

The ability is to build a box, that encompasses everyone needed for the intitiative, project or effort. When we have umpteed defined methods, should one think outside the box, trying to reinvent the wheel?

on the flip side,,.

My 3 Es

Establish, Engage and Enrol concept is a proven logic that has allowed me to collaborate with people, and take them on a journey, with "my story", i.e. project plan.

Establish, Engage, Enroll - My 3 pence worth.

Logic behind these 3 -

ESTABLISH - Constitute endow, secure, assign, arrange, designate, enjoin, nominate, select, elect, allot, accredit, accolades

ENGAGE - Buy in, commission, come on board, sign in, take on, charter, involve, subscribe, captivate, influence, induce

ENROLL - annoint, appoint, register, enlist, ascribe, deputise, entrust, empower, hire, ordain, cast, induct, invest, command, charge, enlist, conscript(into project)

I have posted these as an answer for a query by our co-professional

I would employ my 3 Es to involve people to think out of the box

There is some really good advice here, and to be honest there are many different ways to be effective. It depends on the audience and their preferences. I have one tip that works for me and that is to be very personal, Share something about yourself and treat the audience as friends.
