I take a fast look at the reviews, but usually, I follow my instinct.

When I buy a book because I want it (training proposals, someone recommended me) the process is different, I check online the prices in different places and also if some friend has the digital copy before to read it.

The process that I mentioned is when I'm walking a bookstore, or a marketplace, when you are looking for something to read that is not in your "pending books".
I'm old fashion about books buying process.

Let me ask you one question, this book proposal will be only published on Amazon or is also a physical book? I think that how you'll engage the readers will be completely different.
Understandable. Thank you again for your response! This is one of several books that I am working on. In fact, it will be both physical and electronic, however initially Amazon will be the main marketplace. I published an audiobook in the past, so this will be the start of a new publication effort.

I will keep the community posted. Perhaps when I get to cover designs, I can post them, and everyone can vote? You mentioned polls earlier... is there a way to do polls on this site other than the webinars? Either way, I love reading through all the responses and getting further insights.

Maybe a poll doesn't fit your needs.

A few months ago, in one blog entry (in this community) a peer showed 2 different proposals for his new book, and in the comments bellow we shared our opinions.

Good Luck and keep us posted

I'm going to shamelessly promote my book and the title is: "I Think, Therefore I Plan: Mastering the methods and meditations of project management"

I wrote this because I got sick of boring PM books that only focus on tools and techniques and not on developing the deep critical tacit skills that are enhance by philosophical thinking. If anyone has viewed and read my blogs and webinars on this site should not be surprised at my approach. There's no other book on the market willing to take this approach!

The initial version is available on Kindle: https://goo.gl/Q111UC

Thank you!

Hi Don,

Is the cover an original picture? Because I've seen it in a humoristic website in Spain. Only for your info, but when I've seen the cover I thought in the humoristic site, instead of a formal PM book.

All title are interesting.

Since I would browse at the covers and a few page in the book to see if the title reflect what is in the book.

Being focus on risk the first title got more attention.

I would not expect the same content from each of those title!

John, I have friends that also publish in Amazon. They publish for free the book during one week, like this, they get reviews and comments. Maybe you can think about it...I love to read free books. :)
