Hi Chandrashekhar: What a great question! I don't know if one can be a successful project without excellent soft skills. We lead and create strong and inspired teams by using our soft skills, we use soft skills in our written and verbal communication and we influence our stakeholders and teams to deal with and embrace change by using our soft skills. Often our soft skills are called into play when there are issues, risks, challenges or personality conflicts. Soft skills can also be used during contract negotiations or negotiations with managers for resources. To me, soft skills are just as important as our experience, education and processes.
