I am seeking examples of U.S. municipal entities that have successfully implemented a strategy-focused EPMO. If you know of a city or county that has managed to create such (or something similar), I would welcome knowing about it. Thanks in advance!

Check here; usually a great source for current and prior winners in this space. You will find many city, state, federal, public and private organizational EPMOs. Cheers!

Thanks, Naomi. Regretfully, no U.S. city or county entities have ever made the PMO of the Year Hall of Fame...

Did you look in the last slide; hall of fame finalist has plenty. California is in there; I know because I've used it's ePMO tools and services. Also, don't know what you are looking for specially but there are some great healthcare examples too of finalist and winner I believe. Also, have you looked at government public website PMOs in California, New York, Washington, Michigan? and Chicago? Also, Boeing, Hewlett Packard and I think IBM have what they call "Centers of Excellence" and there are plenty of white papers, exec reports etc that describe their services etc. May have to dig a little deeper but plenty of examples; did some research many years ago and found some great examples.

Naomi, I appreciate your continued dialogue. They are all very good suggestions except they are missing the mark regarding the specific desire for U.S.-based city and county exemplars. Not state or other municipal level. Not private or third sector entities. *Cities and counties* within the United States are needed. A rather exhaustive internet search has yielded a couple of potential candidates that have established performance offices or similarly titled organizational units.

I am in need of leads from those who may be familiar with any cities or counties within the United States that have established a strategy-oriented enterprise project / program / portfolio / performance / strategy management office (or, regardless of name, serves a similar function).

Tony:
Your welcome. FYI, many city, county and federal agencies hire consultants and partner with the state, use state resources, standards, practices and ePMO offices in respective agencies to provide oversight to many city, county and federal projects. Good luck on your leads. Cheers!
