Great! You're an emotionally intelligent person. You have great relationships, and you probably find that people approach you for advice.
However, when so many people admire your people skills, it's easy to lose sight of your own needs. Read our tips below to find out how you can continue to build your EI.

Reviewed the discussion; some very good examples. Hope to just get a new discussion here again, share some thoughts and discussions since we have some many new members here.
Great, it's simple quiz and it provides some good feedback. It's always a point in time response if you've never participated in any other personality/behavioral course. Personally, I've taken many courses like SDI, DISC, Myers Briggs and Standout to simply better understand myself so I relate to others.
EQ requires regular attention on a daily basis since there are many nuances to understanding, applying and reflecting on your self awareness.
My total score was 66 so Mayte and Rami our EQ is high but we have a little room to improve. How can we get better; what new things will you try this year?

There is always room for improvement - I will try to avoid taking things personal when it is work related. How about you Naomi ?

Rami:
Certainly you have to stay focused, keep things in perspective, listen for messages, ask clarifying questions, and read body language. I can identify issues before many people begin speaking. As far as taking things personally, as a PM it's best to focus on your role, targets, results and outcomes and value. Make sure you are always leading; your team and organization depends on it.
How do you practice EQ and get feedback?

Review your feedback; so what you you think you'll have to do to gain greater EQ?
Naomi, did you think about to post it in a poll to collect the participation?

Mayte:
Let's just keep the discussion going; I'll be speaking on this topic right here at ITPMXPO in April. We'll get a poll going at that time. Cheers!
