Hello all,

this will be a big topic this year for all of you who has plan to become a PMP this or next year.

I have created an article regarding this topic with the title:

"Your timeline to become a PMP in 2017 - before the exam will change in 2018!"

you can find it in my blog here at pm.com:

https://www.projectmanagement.com/blogs/30...t%20updated%2E&

it was also published on LinkedIN:

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/your-timeli...pmp?published=t

and of course on my own website:

http://www.projectmanagement.plus/en/news/...-change-in-2018

Please let me know what you think about and how this article/guide might be improved.
Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Markus

Hi Markus,

As usual, this is a great initiative and contribution to the community and to all new aspirants. Thank you for all your efforts. I have a few questions but I will address some on the article itself.

For your website, what is your plan for 2017 ? Are you planning to expand ? I am really interested to know :-)

Cheers,
RK

Hello Rami,

thank you very much for your kind words.

Regarding my website:
Well, i guess i have more plans and ideas then i can ever realize ... ;)

I will definitely go on with the MP4PM initiative, that's for sure.
In addition i have made some new coopreations (and will do some more in the near fututre) what will bring some great updates/features to the site.
For instance: you may know my "let me be your PMP prep guide" - program?!
This will be transferred on a much more professional level in near future and after this step we are able to provide unlimited seats for this program!
And of course i will go on helping PMP and other certification aspirants especially in this year - before the big changes.

I have some more ideas but i will need to find the time for that, not sure if i could manage this beside my regular day job. We will see ...

Regards,

Markus

This is definitely helpful for myself to take a look at the timeline. I am aware the exam will be changing and I start my MS Certificate on March 1st. I was worried that I would not be able to get multiple tries in before taking the exam. But I am supposed to be done with my exam prep course at the end of August, so seeing the opportunity for 3 chances to take my test with time in between is a little sigh of relief. Thanks for this overview!! Great information for someone trying to take the exam before the changes occur.

Great ideas Markus .... Good Luck my friend.

Are you thinking of doing support for certifications other than the PMP such as RMP, SP, ACP, and so on ?
