I'm a big fan of Microsoft Project; however, it can be tough to share schedules and work with anyone who isn't super savvy with it. I've had colleagues who worked with Smartsheet which was easy to share content and collaborate with others who aren't savvy with scheduling software. https://www.smartsheet.com

To clarify, I use MS Project, but as a free alternative I mentioned project libre.

There are many cloud based solutions, although I have not had the opportunity to use them.

When we compare a tool vs other tools so we see the parameters like: User friendliness, Industry Acceptability, Cost per user, Collaborative with other tools and software..etc
I found out top 5 tools-

Ms Projects
Zoho Project
Fast Track Schedule9
Primavera P6
Workfront

Though MS project doesn't come cheap it still is popular most of the lot, how about others?

Orbiting this at a distance of roughly 98 million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea..."
