In the course we need to perform/documents lessons learned. Obviously the duration of the project would impact de frequency.

In the execution of your project lessons learned is done at fix interval? at key moments? at closure?

What is it in your project organization?

It depends on you. But remember, lessons learned should come from each team member. So, the best time would be "Project Status Meetings" that you might set up for your project.

I am doing that right now every 2 weeks and asking for the updates for the last 2 weeks. It is not that frequent, so you don't bother people that much; it is not that long duration, so people don't forget everything they have learnt.

The best thing, people are catching each other's lessons learned too, which I like during my meetings. It is not pointing fingers, but it shows how we get connected to each other's process/knowledge area. (Like Cost-Finance affects Commercial-Scope or the way around).

The best time would be at the end of every activity.
Make sense, a predictable time, force a frequency.

I only know two pieces of music. One of them is 'Claire de Lune.' The other one isn't.
