Hello Janice,
you already have got some great advice here and a lot of tips.
I just want to add a few more.
First of all i would recommend you to refer to this guide for some ground base information:
? The Complete Guide To “How To Get PMP Certification” ?:
As you may know one of the needed requirements are the 35 so called "contact hours" which often causes some confusion by a lot of the new aspirants. Please refer to this guide for helpful information regarding this topic:
? The Complete Guide to PMP 35 Contact Hours of Project Management Education?

If you want to create your own study plan (and you should!) than this guide should provide some help:
As an alternative we do offer a pre-defined and well structured study plan as a weekly guided prep program which you may want to join.
For further information about this please refer to this article/website:
Well, this should be enough for the kickoff i guess. ;)
Please do not hesitate to ask any further question that may occur and may be you want to refer to my blog here at pm.com where i do more or less regularly write about the PMP exam, Exam prep and also nice discount offers and so on.
Until soon,

Great options shared by my colleagues. Also remember the power of good old fashioned study notes, and flashcards.
For me, short, powerful sessions proved helpful. Working full time, with a family, had to get the most benefit out of the times available.
Best of luck Janice Saving Changes...

Congratulations on taking this big step.
I agree with all these colleagues and, as you can see, there is no shortage of methods or material when it comes to on-line help.
As with Rami, I also used Rita Mulcahy's simulation exam as well as her PMP Exam Prep guide. Her approach takes a practical look at the PMBOK framework and makes it easier to understand.
Also, if you are on Linked-In, take a look at the group, "I Want To Be A PMP". You will gain a lot of guidance and resource info as well as general support from this group.
