Best Practices in Leading PKI Project

Anyone have best practices in leading PKI projects? I have the seen the Gartner best practices in PKI deployments, but curious if this audience has anything also.

Are you bidding, won the contract bid or just assigned the project?

Healthcare is an area that you should do some research on to find more detail on best practices. There are lots of white papers and results of lessons learned on deployments. Search the site and see if there is any information here.
Certainly others here can share their insights.
