GST Implementation Strategy & Project Plan in India

Hi,
What is the best implementation strategy currently been adopted by companies to implementing GST in India? Most companies would already have hired consultants as go live date for GST is July1st 2017. Appreciate if people can share their experiences and methodology or best practices they have followed to implement GST.
