Hello
I work for a small nonprofit (about 70 employees) as IT Director. I supervise a Systems Administrator who also became a certified PMP almost two years ago. She has managed a couple of projects for the company each of the past couple of years and we have proposed that her job title reflect her dual responsibilities of Project Management and Systems Administration. That job title has been approved, but cannot be made official until a comparable salary search is conducted to ensure that she is already in the salary range and not too far from the middle of the range. However our HR person is unable to find a good range for what is proving to be a fairly rare combination of responsibilities. We are in Buffalo NY and again a nonprofit, so both of those factors would influence the salary range. Some of the salaries for PMPs on glassdoor.com are six figures and we barely pay our CEO that. Anyone with a similar combo of responsibilities and an approximate salary range? Any other resources that might be helpful? Thank you. Saving Changes...

In addition, check the pay scale that your local public administration offers. It's public information and can help with setting an adequate salary. Also, check out Payscale.com and Salary.com for information. Saving Changes...
From my point of view, the best option is to check the PMI salary guide, but in addition, you can check some websites as Ed noted, here few more LinkedIn or glassdoor too. Saving Changes...

Thank you all for the responses. I will see what I can come up with from these resources for what is a rather customized job description in order to keep a excellent employee who is not even asking for additional compensation, just the credibility of being a Project Manager. Saving Changes...
