accountability matrix

Hi all, has anyone ever seen an accountability matrix? It is not a term I have heard of before, but is mentioned in the PMI Program Management course guide:

"Task 4. Develop an accountability matrix by identifying and assigning program roles and resources in order to build the core team and to differentiate between the program and project resources"

Searching does not seem to come up with anything consistent for this either.

Tim, I would start with a RACI chart or Responsibility Matrix (https://www.projectmanagement.com/delivera...bility-Matrix). It is used to identify who is Responsible, and who is Accountable; who should be Consulted for the decision and who should be Informed. Good luck!

Thanks Matthew. I think you are on the right track, here's a website I found that has an example of what I believe one is too

Though admittedly if you added all the project's resources into this it wouldn't be pretty...
