I'm looking into getting an Information Security credential. There do not seem to be too many options that focus upon project management skills within the realm of information security. I've come across two: CISM - seems to teach pm skills to a seasoned information security professional & CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager) - seems to teach cybersecurity skills to a project manager.
CSPM appears to be the certification that I would want to look into. My concern is that I've not heard of this certification. I have heard of CISM. Anyone have any experience with either of these? Saving Changes...

ISACA CISM cert has a lot more visibility and demand than CSPM Saving Changes...

I would suggest that before making any decision, you review the exam objectives to see which certification aligns best with your career goals. I recently passed the CISM exam; while preparing for my information security certification, I used study resources from CertifyCerts which were very helpful in organizing my preparation. CISM appears to be a good choice for security management, whereas CSPM is likely more focused on security project management. Learning about the recognition and requirements for both would be the appropriate next step for you. Saving Changes...
