As far as I know that theory X states that a manager assumes bad attitude from employees so he exerts micro management on them,

And theory Y states that a manager assumes good attitude from employees so he exerts macro management on them.

But I could not understand theory Z. could someone elaborate on it ?

I had to look that up. I forgot what that was. Theory Z is also known as Ouchi's Theory and Japanese Management style. The company increased employee loyalty by offering a job for life with a strong focus on work/life balance. As Anita mentioned, Theory Z is now a type of human resource management where resources provided to the employees help them be successful everyday.

I would like to put one small piece: theory z based on the assumption that employees want to build cooperative relationships with their employers, peers, and other employees in the firm.
The rest is as you mentioned
