Here in the Nordrhein-Westfalen region I've seen amounts from 5k to 7k, if you are a Project Manager and depending on experience and industry. These amounts, though, may vary a lot in Germany, being the Bayern region the highest rates, because the costs of living are also much higher. I've seen offers over there with increase of up to 1k monthly than over here. Saving Changes...

It depends on how many years of experience, what industry and the company itself so it really could vary from $4,000 - $8,000 for a PM with 7 Years of experience for example. Saving Changes...

I'm with Ed, I will recommend checking by experience or region in order to don't be depressed when you compare your country with others...(that what happened to me when I was in Spain and read comments from the U.S)
Survey is just one side of the story.
Certification has nothing to do with bonus, increment, and growth.

Anywhere from $2,000 to $20,000 - the key is not the certificate but what many have stated above:
1. What industry
2. Level of experience of the person
3. What has that person accomplished
4. etc. Saving Changes...

In a geographically dispersed country like Canada, the differences between the "central" Canada and the rest can be strikingly different.
In the Atlantic Canada. You can probably expect $5,000 to $7,000 a month for an experienced project manager, regardless of certification. Saving Changes...

Deepesh,
In Australia, an PM with 5 years of experience gets a salary between 10 K - 12 K ?
Like Stephen said, here in Canada, an experienced PM with 10 Years of experience gets a salary of $9,000 CAN per month before tax which will end up in the range of $6,500 CAN after tax.
I worked in the gulf region and china as well and the salaries there are about the same range.

These numbers are really enticing:-) US is highly dependent on the location, need, role type, certified or not, experience, your presentation etc. So, the range is pretty broad. IMO.

The PMP can also provide a significant advantage when it comes to salary and earning potential. Among survey respondents to PMI’s Earning Power Salary Survey, (https://goo.gl/1KDfHb ) those with a PMP certification garner a higher salary (20% higher on average) than those without a PMP certification.* Saving Changes...
