Does industries or organizations consider person with PMP and project management background in certain domain to other domains? If one changing domain, what should be important to take care? Saving Changes...
The weighting given to the PMP does vary by industry and geographic location.
It's very popular in IT in North America, but not as common in construction in the UK for example.

I live in North America as well. You do have a point but when I was looking for a job in Construction & Real Estate Development, most of the JD's contained a clause that PMP is an asset so it is becoming more and more recognized.

There are always domain/technical "walls" which get put up in hiring situations if you are an unknown entity and/or if you are in a "buyer's" market for PM talent.
While the majority of PM competencies are transferable between domains, there needs to be "sufficient" knowledge to help the PM ask the right questions or to have some degree of independent assessment of the information they receive from team members or other stakeholders.
