I don;t think 5th edition has changed at all. If you are taking a test in PMBOK5th ed, you should have completed the test before March 2018. I don't know of any recommendations to PMP exam courses, sorry.

Any REP can provide you with the syllabus changes. I suggest you check the PMI web site for the REPs that suit your requirements

Daniel -

Nearly any reputable PMP prep course vendor will have offerings which are compliant with the current Exam Content Outline (ECO) and underlying source material aligned to the 5th edition of the PMBOK Guide.

As Deepa has indicated, all providers are required to update their content by the end of March to reflect the anticipated changes to the exam.

As such, your decision making should be driven by a couple of factors:

1. Reputation/personal references of folks who have used a given vendor
2. Your budget
3. Does the vendor's approach fit your personal learning style

Some of your requirements don't make much sense relative to the PMP exam. What is an interactive case study and why would you want a "real-world scenario"? Your goal is to pass the exam, not learn good practices in project management. Those requirements are more relevant to a foundational course in PM than a PMP prep course.

Doesn't PMI tell you what changes are made to the 5th?

Hi Daniel,

if you can manage to sit or the exam until end of March 2016 you do not need to look for the changes yet, cause until then the exam based on the 5th edition.
Find a good course (live or online) and just go for it.

If you want to go for the exam based on the new 6th edition then you will have to wait anyway til the providers have updated their courses and prep materials.
Some will be ready in the beginning of the new year I guess, others may need even more time after the exam change has taken place.

My recommendation would be to go for the exam NOW. You do have almost a half year time to do so, more than enough.

If a self-paced online course may be an option I would refer to this one (have used this one by my self):

Oh this is amazing, and I also recommend to do the exam before the change as well. If you have the knowledge of everything, and pace yourself, you can do it, it's very do able as long as you are consistent with your studies.
