Hello, you will need to get around 80-85% on the mock exams. Try Rita's book "PMP Exam Prep" and cross reference with the PMBOK. Andy Crowe's book "The PMP Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try" is also a good reference. Also look at the PMP Exam Content Outline as it highlights the tasks required by PM's and some of that will be in the exam. Saving Changes...

Hello!!
Don't worry, No big deal if you have not clear exam in first attempt.
Don't stop, Start again & read atlest two books thoroughly. My preference will be for Rita's & Joseph Philips book. Take the practice exam seriously from these book & analyse your incorrect answer. We can get more information & clarity on doubts from our wrong answers. You do this seriously & I'm sure you will clear in your next attempt. Wish you all the best!! Saving Changes...

Stay motivated ... scores should be higher for the mock exams.
Share with us what your preparation was. That will help to clearly identify potential next steps.
Additional reading, another review of the PMBOK, flashcards, notes, more practice tests.
For me personally, I put more weight on old fashion study techniques and less on mock exams.
Good luck! Saving Changes...

1-do not focus on memorize the PMBOK. Questions are situational questions then you have to understand the point of time where the process take place. That is very important: questions are situational questions. 2-make more than 1200 questions and when you get 75%-90% accuracy systematically then you are ready. 3-day before the exam do nothing related of the exam. The day of the exam do nothing related to the exam except the exam itself. 4-Remember: you have to answer what the PMI expect as an answer not matter you have applied other thing in your work life. 5-do not forget reading and understanding the content outline. This will give you an idea about the domains you have to understand because questions are based on the domains. The PMBOK is used as a reference. Saving Changes...

If you can do an in-person exam prep class, that helped me greatly. Talking through answers and practicing best practices, is huge as you think about the questions during the exam. I did the class, did two practice exams the week before my exam and passed on my first try (I HATE TESTS and DO NOT TEST WELL). I say this because timing is key. Between my class, practices and reading in preparation, I gave it a month total. Having info fresh was helpful. Saving Changes...
