Edouard Boulanger Project Manager _ PMP| PMORS Jongny, Switzerland
after 13 years of project management in different fields, I've decided to get certified withPMI.
Going step by step, I just get the CAPM and now it's time to go for PMP.
For what I've seen, it's not so common that people go for both.
Is anyone able to help me understanding the real gap existing between the two?
Considering I got the basis, what should be my main focus for PMP?

Thanks for your help!

CAPM is mostly for professionals who are at the early stage of their career, but if you have years of experience in Project Management and fill the PMI criteria, its better you should skip CAPM and directly go for PMP.

Anyone who has the PMP certification requirements and CAPM certification first is the same as washing their feet before taking a shower.
