If your team is in the same geographical area in walking distance. I feel an in person meeting would be more appropriate over a con-call meeting requiring you to share your desktop to present. People tend to multitask and not give their full attention to the meeting. You cannot engage in a virtual meeting like a physical meeting.
I prefer F2F when it's possible - and I'm of the belief that even virtual teams should meet once a year just to get to know each other (that's not always possible though).

F2F meetings is not always possible since most of projects involve teams/team members across geographical locations. Even in case of in-person meeting, when many members are involved, all members may not be equally involved.
