I am launching a project in which the key team members are at the other side of the country. While I plan to travel to the project site regularly, I would also like to be able to conduct training from the head office. Do you know of a software application or service that would accommodate live virtual classrooms? i.e. a webcam to broadcast me conducting the training while showing the presentation slides and allowing for interactive discussions.

Richard -

We use a service called RingCentral (https://www.ringcentral.ca/office/features.../overview.html) in the training company I currently work for, but even WebEx or GoToMeeting should be able to support what you are looking to do.

Thanks for the quick response, Kiron.

I know that I can do audio and show my screen with WebEx and GoToMeeting but I haven't seen where I can do live video streaming with either one of those applications. Do they support that?

I know with RingCentral we are able to have multiple web cameras going while at the same time sharing a screen with the potential for multiple people to have simultaneous remote control. Not sure about GoToMeeting or WebEx as I've used both of those in a push mode only...

Thanks.

We have Cisco Unified Communications and Cisco Jabber. I see that it has some of those same capabilities. I will investigate further.
