Mounir,
Thanks for your input.
I read about the Recognition of Prior Learning Policy and this is what they mention online as part of their RPL Policy:
"If a candidate has a project management certification that is recognized by GPM® and can be verified via public registry they can take the exam by making use of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy if they complete a PRiSM Foundations or Practitioner Course".
So I understand that if you have a PMP and want to qualify for the RPL, you will have to take a course in order to qualify.
Is my understanding correct ? Saving Changes...

I heard so too and it is very interesting to me as it is part of what our organisation supports.
Rami - caution. PMI is not part of GPM. Very different. PMI is not against it but they are separate organizations. I say caution because PMI police might be concerned about the implied connection on many different levels.
I will post this to the group in case this message is only seen by you.
No harm just being careful.

Elaine,
You probably did misunderstand what I stated in my previous message so to be clear: I never implied that there is a connection between both organizations and I am fully aware that PMI & GPM are two totally separate organizations. When I said “our organization supports this” I meant the organization I work for (The company I work for), not PMI. Our company supports Green Buildings Initiatives / Sustainability & PMI Certifications & Initiatives. They are in full supoort of those both organizations.
On another note, of course PMI are not against GPM as the GPM is one of the recognized certifications by PMI and vice versa.
I trust the above clarifies your concerns.

Mounir, it was an exam with questions? How much? What was the basement documents or books you have to study beyond your work experience? If you like to comment about that it will help me.

Hi Sergio,
Yes, the exam is 150 Questions which you have to do in 3 Hours. It tests your knowledge of the Project Management & Sustainability. Check the below link:
There are two reference books which are available online on their website:
The GPM Reference Guide to Sustainability in Project Management, the official study guide and The GPM P5 Standard for Sustainability in Project Management (Free to Download).
If you make membership with them ($97 US / Year), you get access to all material and a practice exam for free.

the GPM course material I DO NOT believe is sitting in the website for $97 access. There is a fee for the training materials and that is locked with passwords. Think of it -- if you could gain all materials for $97 -- why are there trainers and speakers related to the materials.
The exam fee is currently $100.
There was some concern years ago that individuals would take the materials and do to it what happened to the PMP Certification.
How you plan to use the material is what adds true value.

Elaine,
Not sure why you always try to put us on the spot and make us look like we do not know what we are doing. We are professionals, just like you are, and do understand fully the meaning of Ethics and how to use material to add value.
My reply to Sergio's question was to specific things he asked for.
On another note, your information is not accurate as the exam fee is $199.
Let us keep this discussion a constructive one please.
