Does humor play a role in professional project management? Do you remember situations where humor helped, for instance, to bond a team or to solve a conflict?

Introducing the element of humor is good but it is importsnt to have the right sense of humor otherwise things might go out of control and blow out of proportions.
You need to know the time to make a joke. Regards.

Some of you might already know it, but there's a webinar here in ProjectManagement.com by Peter Taylor, "The Project Manager Who Smiled". It´s a bit old (from 2013), but I think it still shows some good examples of the use of humor in project management.

I routinely use JibJab to sent hilarious videos to the team to break out the mundane project status reporting. I usually put it at the end of a particularly long status report to see which folks read the report from beginning to end... :)
