I am Abdul from Egypt, I work as Project engineer in Oil and Gas field for 8 years.

I graduated from Egyptian University with B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. I am also PMP certified and in two day I hope that I will be PMI-RMP certified.

Currently, I am thinking about moving to US to work, will I need FE certificate to work as Project engineer in USA, or will my Project Management certificates be enough.

If you have PMP then you can work as Project Manager no need to work as project engineer but to work as Mechanical Engineer you must be like P.Eng to be allowed to call your self professional engineer but it is not big deal unless you want to stamp drawings if you are in management then many engineers would be working under you

Why don't apply to Australia, the Oil and Gas market here is booming? but you have to start from scratch here, and very old technology
