Productive habits?

My contribution as a leader in IT projects, I lead by example, for this I define the behavior I want the team to show, then I practice what I say and I preach by example, there is nothing more important than demonstrating that things can be done and show what the road is, the inertia of my behavior and actions makes my team follow me, not as an imitation, but I am showing them what can be done and when the benefits of this new habit are clear, it will be extensively productive.

Leaving the comfort zone of autocratic leadership and delegating tasks, the power to change, to spread the new habit, will need the input of advanced users, also enthusiastic users, members of the team that can spread the new habit among the rest of the team and even all the organization.

Very important to apply horizontal or vertical deployment: divide the habit into smaller actions and smaller pieces, so that small steps can be made, then small gains can motivate the team to take the rest of the way, no matter how difficult it is be.

The real and strongest commitment to the project is the team's motivation to carry out their tasks, so the constant motivation will keep the group with the shirt on to achieve all the objectives set.

People can get used to routine tasks very often, so I propose to vary the role of the members, without neglecting their specialty, showing them different things that contribute to their personal and professional growth, remember that as long as our team is trained, we It will also raise the level to us, it is a win - win.

Practice resilience in our person and transmit it to the team, the recovery we have before events and circumstances must be very agile, this will help the group to have security and develop, removing the denial, confusion, depression and crisis that may exist in the project .

This makes me quite sensible in the understanding that learning new habits, good of course, counteracts the struggle against the habits established by domination.

I invite you not to take yourself too lightly, you must do it with the necessary amounts of sensitivity, all the while motivating the team to renew better and more productive behavior patterns.
