Overview

High-risk projects rarely fail because leaders lack intelligence, experience, or data. They fail because critical information becomes distorted as it moves through organizations under pressure. Schedule urgency, optimism bias, authority gradients, and reputational concerns create what I call delivery noise: the gradual distortion of decision-relevant information before it reaches decision-makers.

Learning Objectives

  • Attendees will be able to identify the organizational conditions that create delivery noise and reduce decision quality in complex projects.
  • Attendees will be able to recognize early behavioral signals that indicate important information is becoming distorted before reaching decision-makers.
  • Attendees will be able to apply practical leadership techniques that strengthen decision integrity while preserving trust, accountability, and delivery momentum.

I only know two pieces of music. One of them is 'Claire de Lune.' The other one isn't.
