It will cover the following areas: • Understanding the key drivers behind the project • Understanding the role of the key organisations, i.e. client / promoter, project management, consultants, contractors etc • Understanding the capability of project team members • Developing a project organisation to promote better collaboration and teamwork • How to optimise working with multiple organisations forming the project team • Implementing the appropriate systems to provide effective monitoring of performance • Monitoring the project using Key Performance Indicators • Knowing when to intervene when things don’t go as planned • Closing out and learning from key events during the project life cycle
