Overview

Industry 4.0 has brought us to 24/7/365 age of increasing industrialization. A mixture of ingenious technologies can run the entire project without obstruction. Prominent among these are Big Data, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality, Bionics, Tactile Internet, Smart Phones, OHMD (Optical Head Mounted Display) and the FOG.

Engineering challenges have become seamless thanks to open network protocols. Monitoring, evaluation, and automation have banded together. The intelligence so gathered converts into digital packets. It sums up the merging of four of the most influential characteristics: Social, Mobile, Big Data, and the ‘Cloud.'

It is interesting to see Project Managers gradually adapt to the role of Data Managers. Is it a fluke or perhaps one-upmanship? None of these, I must say. On the contrary, it is getting harder and harder to work efficiently in the absence of critical data at our fingertips at all times. Not only that, Big Data has presented us with an opportunity unlike anything we have experienced ever before. It gives us most critical information alongside corrective measures that we could initiate while being physically away from the site in question.

In this webinar, we are going to address the urgency of Change Management with focus on ‘Internet of Things’ in its various ‘avatars.’ We shall also solve the puzzle of the five imposing Ws that force us to think out of the box. I am quite sure many of the attendees are already well aware of the boom in sensors that trigger notifications of various kinds. They may have also experienced different facets of connectivity through ‘IoT’ in their own line of work. However, we shall go deeper and explore its various nuances that give us the cutting edge to fulfill.
