Overview

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems evolved in parallel with the software-oriented Agile product delivery approaches. ERP evolved from custom solutions to Materials Resource Planning (MRP) systems, adding later Financial Management capabilities. These days, there are many off-the-shelf ERP systems, and consulting companies specialised in the implementation of a certain ERP system.  However, most of the current ERP projects are still based on the assumption that an ERP implementation is an IT initiative and can or should be managed as a software development project.
This webinar is the second in a series presenting a case study of implementing an ERP solution in an Agile way, as a Business project that should lead to increasing Enterprise Agility. It follows a webinar dedicated to the Initiation phase and describes how planning can be done in an Agile way.
