Overview
This webinar will be deal with the development and content of the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and what resources are available to members and certificate holders regarding the Code. The webinar will also focus on how process by which the Code is enforce.
William G. Scarborough, J.D., serves as PMI's General Counsel. Prior to coming to PMI he had his own private practice for 18 years. William's areas of practice include Association Law, Antitrust and Commercial Transactions.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Society of Association Executives. He also serves on the American National Standards Institute Committee on Intellectual Property Rights and is a past chair of the Ethics Committee of the American Society of Association Executives.
William has collaborated with various PMI members on articles that have appeared in PMI Today and PM Network on topics of intellectual property, ethics and Board of Director responsibilities. William was the staff liaison to the Ethics Standards Review Committee and participated in the drafting of the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. William supports the work of the Ethics Review and Ethics Appeals Committee and the Ethics Member Advisory Committee which has been tasked by the PMI Board to educate the project management community regarding the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
